Having opened earlier this year, Nottingham based Central Lotus boasts an impressive layout and a full range of the Norfolk firm’s latest models. The Elise, Exige, Evora and even the new Evora 400 supercar are all available to test drive – by appointment – and will also be on display at The Fast Car Festival. We are also expecting a few exciting demos on the track but we’ll keep you in suspense for a little longer on these…

Central Lotus isn’t just a dealership it also practices what it preaches and races in the GT Cup Championship with its own dealer-team backed Evora GTE. Driven by Kevin Riley and Gareth Downing in the GTO class they’re currently running joint third, sharing the last spot on the podium with a Lamborghini Huracan! If that wasn’t enough, the firm’s race truck was once owned by F1 legend Michael Schumacher and will also be a part of the firm’s extensive display at FCF.

At the Central Lotus showroom on the banks of the river Trent, the team likes to do things differently. You won’t find the usual hard-selling salesmen pushing the firm’s products instead you’ll be met by young, enthusiastic members of the National Motorsport Academy. These youngsters are training to get Britain’s first online Motorsport Engineering degrees, either a Foundation Degree (FdSc) or a Motorsport Engineering BSc (Hons). The NDA Foundation is a not for profit organisation committed to widening access to further and higher education and Central Lotus are on the frontline of this new initiative.
